My experience with Greenberg Dental in Ormond Beach has been the single worst medical ordeal of my life. What began as a simple cavity filling turned into months of relentless, debilitating pain. After the initial filling, I repeatedly begged for help, yet they refused to schedule proper appointments and forced me to walk in over and over again. Only after countless visits did they finally admit the tooth they filled now “needed a root canal” and sent me to their in‑house specialist, Dr. Cherian. The root canal made everything dramatically worse. The pain became indescribable — far beyond anything I had ever felt. Again, I was dragged through months of visits with no answers, no urgency, and no accountability. Eventually, they admitted the tooth had likely abscessed and now needed to be removed entirely. After all the pain, all the appointments, and all the money, their solution was to pull the tooth they had ruined. They then referred me to yet another in‑house provider, Dr. Tolson, for the extraction. One of the worst dental office ive ever been to. I got crowns done 2 years ago and it took several months of them messing them up (and making me feel bad when they messed up, for me asking them to fix it) and now not even 2 years later, the permanent crown is broken. Absolutely ridiculous.

Update this was my review when I first came in. First off I cannot deny the great care the dental staff gave me but the office on the other hand will give you a quote with another office but will add charges and force you to pay without showing a breakdown of treatment. Good luck getting a hold of them if you work during normal business hours and can’t go in person. Be aware do not do treatment at 2 locations even though they are both Greenberg. It will be a nightmare. “I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Awad, Sharon, and the entire team at Greenberg Dental. This was by far the best Greenberg Dental location I’ve ever been to. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They saw me promptly and took the time to understand my concerns. What really stood out was how much they truly cared about what was best for me and my health, not just rushing through the appointment or pushing unnecessary treatments. Dr. Awad was thorough and thoughtful, and Sharon made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I'm really blown away by the excellent care my super anxious daughter experienced. I can't thank Dr. Cherian and Juan ( I'm blanking out on the name of assistant she had the first time that was a true angel), absolutely phenomenal!!! My daughter has had an extremely traumatic experience at another dental office and she was very anxious at first to get these root canals, however Dr. Cherian is really great at what he does and she actually felt no pain during the novacaine injections. No pain after the procedure . Juan even grabbed her a blanket to help her feel cozy, I'm so grateful!! I would highly recommend!!!
